Imagine yourself as a father or mother of three energetic children; add in curiosity and wild experimentation on these little angels, then your life would always need some parenting skills. The question is how do we make our kids go with the net without the worries of them falling prey into the evils (porn, gambling, war-freak games, etc)? My sons always asked for my permission if they can go to this site and play some games. This worries me. Being a nice parent is easy but taking control on and always on the look-out of what they would be playing is the tasky thing. With today’s children games, a parent cannot help but be worried of the things their children are playing.

In my decades of facing the computer myself, I have come across several games which turn out to be rewarding, child-friendly, safe and educational. I have come up with my own list of games that you might also be interested. For me these are called my nanny-games because they serve as nannies (minus the tender loving care, of course or the stern look) especially when my wife house does the shopping while I do the laundry (no kidding).

Creative Painter. It is an easy-to-use Windows program that lets kids have hours of fun painting pictures on their computer screens. Creative Painter is simple to learn and operate in which they can experiment with happy, kid-size graphics tools to create personalized works of art. Children can add animated pictures to their paintings, from barking dogs and swaying flowers to swimming fish and flying butterflies. The Origami Master. It is a funny origami game with paper folding lessons.　The software will teach your kids the origami knowledge and teach you how to do more than 30 animal models step by step. It's the real 3D paper game you've ever seen in this spectacular action-puzzle adventure from the makers of origami. It includes many alive characters, eagle, chicks, bear, bees, dragonfly, swan and so on.

15 Slide Puzzle. It is an advanced version of well-known pocket board game. The goal of 15 puzzle game is to compose picture by sliding squares into the empty spot. Advanced features allow to play with digital photos, pictures and classic numeric boards. Select the number of squares from 4x4 up to 8x8. It is available for customized sizing and full screen.　It has no limitations for its trial version.

Dragon. The main character of this game is a young knight who has no ambition of becoming a hero. That is why he is far from being keen on taking on a five-headed dragon in order to win back royal treasure and free an abducted princess. It is indeed an entertaining game with detailed hand-crafted graphics for all lovers of fairy tales. Whether it will have a happy-end like all fairy tales, depends entirely on the player.
